PAIROLA
We live in a small, still intact village, surrounded by olive groves, 2 km away from the sea. It is inhabited mainly by Italians. Politically, it is a part of San Bartolomeo al Mare, and that is between Alassio and Sanremo at the Ligurian coast.

The village lies approximately 80 to 100 meters above sea level and is exposed to the Mediterranean Sea. |
Pairola is a section of San Bartolomeo al Mare. |

The church is the center of the village and the second most important place besides the "boccia" place. |

The sunny home, small, but fine: a room with bath. The house is out of the 17th Century, has been restored and has beautiful vaults and arches. |

And in addition a portico. Can be very well used as a lounge in the summer. Beautifully cool (unfortunately also in the winter time). |

The absolute "Bijou" is our small garden, only 97 square meters large, but it gives enough to work. Some trees (Orange, Mandarin, Lemon, Nespole (Loquat)), a miniature vegetable garden and many Mediterranean plants. Not to forget: also orchids, native and others.

The orchids are the whole year outside the house, tied up at trees. There are up to today Cymbidiums, Dendrobiums, Encyclias, Epidendrums, Oncidiums, Odontoglossums and Vandas. |
